I don’t believe it for a few reasons, including a belief that Skaife is not leaving yet and that Lethal would be offered the spot first.

However, as an HRT member, I would welcome him to our folds and support Will in red. Prior to any annoucement I will say there are other drivers I’d rather see on my team. (And hold the right to retract that statement if he did come over.)

Hopefully the rumours arent true because Will is a great driver and would be a shame for jim beam racing and ford to lose him.

Ahhh… for those of you who don't subscribe to Motorsport eNews, and as much as I hate being the bearer of bad news… I'm afraid it looks like it's true. Will and Garth will be running the HRT cars in 2009.

I’m not yet convinced. HRT is really good with it’s members, and we’ve heard nothing. I’m going to put my faith in HRT and not an online news source for now.

Over the past few weeks the percentage of this happening has gotten higher and higher….looks like it has finally hit the 100% mark

With the very close racing we get from Jamie and Will, I hope the FG’s are well ahead of the VE’s next year, but I’m sure the rivalry will still be done fair and square(as long as Uncle Tom doesn’t give the orders).

GT & WD will be at HRT and “apparently” HRT has just bought PWR’s licence for next year.. there is the 3rd seat (for Skaife i imagine, in the E85 ‘green car”)

Very sad to see WD follow his pocket, but still, was bound to happen with DJR forking out the coin for Courtney, there was no way Will was goin to stay at DJR for less $$$ considering his recent performance.

i remember him saying last year that he had been approached by ppl wanting to poach him from DJR, but considering his contract & “loyality” to DJR he was staying put…

i would have loved to see what Will could have done in a T8 built chassis, less interesting to see him in a HRT commo, but best of luck to him (in the pit garage)

Sanchez says that Will would have made more $$$ had he stayed at DJR……. but Courtney cut his grass before he could decide….. so there was no point staying there with JC as a team mate.

Sanchez says that there arent too many drivers in pit lane that would have have JC as a team mate by choice.

Sanchez wishes Will the best of luck at HRT……..a good opportunity for him……but he will need to slam down an extra large can of Chopper Reeds “Harden the F*%k Up” before he gets there if he is to survive with Tander as a team mate. Tander will screw with Will’s head before he knows it if he is not careful.

Good on Will for taking the drive with HRT … to me it doesn’t matter who he drives for he is still a great driver and has always been a nice guy to me so i will still support him …. He has to do what is best for his future and if that means going to HRT then so be it

I agree with doe, I will still support Will no matter who he drives for, good on Will for taking up the opportunity even though its disapointing for us ford fans.
