Since I'm sure you must asked by millions of people for free team stuff, is it true that you basically have to buy your own team gear. If so does this include your safety gear, or does the team provide it.

I can answer that one (sorry Jw)
We get issued with a team kit for work and race meetings but if we lose our stuff then we do have to pay to replace it and as far as the boys safety gear it is provided for them as as you are aware it needs to meet strict fia and cams regulations and safety standards .

The reason I asked is because 888 used to wear Sparco fire gear and now they have RPM, so I was wondering who’s decision it was. I’m guessing this doesn’t apply to helmets, which I’m guessing are the driver’s own choice?

I spent a morning at bowen hills early in the year when they were putting the “team kit” together and handing them out..
they had some awesome T8 Suitcases!

i remember at Hidden Valley this year i was getting stuff signed my Jamie and Craig & Jamie ended up drawing on
himself with permanent texta.. quite funny actually.. and he blamed it all on Craig =D
