can you tell us a little about what was said in the other forum sanchez?
mmmm, i thought that if he was a f1 test driver he would be a very decent driver……. well i guess he is, but does come unstuck often. i have no idea why, nor a theory!
Steph 11:02 pm April 9th 2008
i didnt know who u were talking about, but jess just told me on msn. thanks Jess!
Steph 11:05 pm April 9th 2008
oh god im so dumb. the topic heading, ‘Courtney’. dammit.
im sick!!!
Dirty Sanchez 11:07 pm April 9th 2008
Decent driver Lindy.???………..Sanchez thinks he is going to buy you a new TV.
As they say ………To finish first - First you must finish……..and in there lies the reason why Courtney is only an average driver. Decent drivers cross the finish line and Courtney is either in the wall or in the pits after hitting someone.

lol sanchez, i said i thought he would be a decent driver, didnt say he was! lol
my tv works ok, but would love another one anyway
yes, thats true - to finish first, first you must finish!

Ah… I hate the bitchiness in the Ford ranks. Why don’t the boys just pull their heads in and concentrate on driving.
Or in James’ case… learn how to drive instead of trying to dance.
Think he just likes to be in the limelight regardless what he’s doing.

I think James’ problem is for the past few years he was in Russell’s shadow and now he’s the teams no#1 driver.. thats a lot of pressure no matter who you are. so now he’s expected to perform at the top and he’s been taken out in one form or another in the races…. imagine the stress he’s under….. i’m sure if most of us were put under that amount of pressure we’d crack …….. besides it’s good to blow of steam even if it is misguided and at the wrong person…. i’m sure both Jamie and Craig at points in their career have done the same thing when the pressure was on them ….. just remember nobody is perfect because there is no such thing as perfect. But Jamie and Craig come pretty close in our eyes

There is an article in this weeks auto action about James i am yet to read it but the heading is “back off’ wild courtney warned to save his V8 future!
Sim 11:19 am April 10th 2008
saw an interview with him on V8Xtra last saturday where he was saying that he always races to win and therefor sometimes loses out in the process. I think though if he calmed down a bit he might see that sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war.

Damm good question Sanchez, I dunno whats going on with JC, he has a car that is capable of winning races, as he was soooo close to winning the first race a Clipsal. Maybe he is a tad frustrated that it hasn’t been as easy as he thought it would. I did read a short article in Auto Action I think , and he did say (not exactly word for word) but he basically said that he was frustrated that the car just didn’t have that extra ten tenths to get him up the pointy end. I think that because most of his career he has had equipment that he could just go out and mop the floor with the opposition and now he is up against a VERY competitive series.
Also read that his manager has had a word with him and basically told him to pull his head in and just drive the car at its potential and not to get aggressive because you are not winning races.
So basically James excuse was that he has been frustrated that the car hasn’t had the speed to put him up front and he has taken his frustrations out on the track. I think it is exactly what he needs, to build some character in him, there is talk going around that he will be with another team next year, and I think that he is better to just stay at SBR and work hard and the race wins will eventually come.
SBR has admitted that they dropped the ball after winning 3 championships straight and losing some key personnel it has taken a toll on them. But the Stone boys are in this game for the long haul, they love what they do and there is absolutely no doubt that SBR will be running back up the front of the pack (with T8) real soon.
SO my advise to James is don’t go off running looking for a better team, be loyal to SBR and develop some character and you will be rewarded.
Funny how it’s so easy to give advise, you think you know the solution to everything, glad I’m not like that. lol.

From what I’ve seen, needs to be a bit more patient and wait for the right moment…

I have wondered the same thing… I think James is a good driver and always have but I have read some people bagging him on here before as well, the V8xtra interview was really good and I thought it would get people off his back, what he said was they haven't yet had everything all in place for a win, he did say that he is always out for a win but he also explained everyone of the incidents that people are all over him about and I think they were very good incites to what actually happened and different perspectives, he also said that he is not looking to leave Stone Brothers and that him and his manger have had a chat..
There was also a big article in the motorsport news about Stone Brothers and they said really the fans had to much expectation of James' taking over from Marcos and once he gets that win you won't be able to stop him and I agree.
I also agree with everyone is a bit quick to judge I would like to see some people in the same place.
Lindy Hall 3:49 pm April 10th 2008
ah, thats right - thanks mark!!
Lindy Hall 3:51 pm April 10th 2008
good point madonne, BUT….. he needs to take a step back when things dont go his way, rather then name calling and sounding like a sook. he lost some respect from me after that incident.
Maddy 4:05 pm April 10th 2008
I thought his after incident interviews have been respectful. Craig has no problem with him they have sorted it out. Look at what Morris said to him and he never blamed anyone. I guess we will have to beg to differ.
