Well done to Will Davison for winning his first ever V8 Suppercar race and round. What a great result for DJR and for Ford.
And of course congrats to Jamie for a solid result and that 108 point lead in the championship!
I wonder if a beer or two will be had between the boys back at "the pad"?!
Well done Will!

Yes congrats will! It was fantastic to see him take his first race win and winning overall. If Jamie cant win - thankfully a ford did instead! Its nice to see DJR back running at the front, it was great watching Dick Johnson throughout the weekend with a big smile across his face! All that playstation playing between will and jamie at “the pad” has come in handy. Also congrats on having such a fantastic stouch and not touching each other.

Yeah, well done to Will for the Round win, and excellent work Jamie for keeping a handy lead in the championship! Some great driving all round today!!

Well done to Will. It’s nice for the younger generation and not as experienced to have wins. It makes for an interesting championship. And of course well done to Jamie for the tactful driving.
Enjoyed my weekend. Thank you!!

Yes for sure. It was great to see Will up there he has been so close for a while now so good to see him break through and for Dick to. Glad to see Jamie still leading the championship to. I’m sure they will have a few drinks to celebrate!

Great driving by Will. Well deserved win.
And if Jamie can’t sleep… he can always jump online and chat with us.

Well done to Will.

Donna Jarvis 8:48 pm March 9th 2008
Good on ya Will, good to see.
And Jamie, your turn to do the garbage for the week hahaha.
On ya buddy.
Kate 9:02 pm March 9th 2008
I agree, well done Will, almost brought a tear to the eye to see everyone involved so happy for him.
Well done to Jamie on some great racing and some moments where i held my breath eg side by side with Will!
Margaret Inness 9:04 pm March 9th 2008
Yeah i thought I was going to have a heart attack with some of the moves he was trying to pull.
But I have to applaud both Jamie and Craig as they showed just how you can pass other cars safely without having to punt them off the track. Maybe JC should take some notes next time.

I think Will will be having some Jimmys tonight rather than beer!!! lol
was great to see Will up running at the front, cnsidering the age of the car. not quite sure how old it is, but considering the trouble the team were in it would have to be 4-5 years old at least!
anyway, better luck in NZ Jamie, great race thou, excellent to watch. thank you

Could not have been better to see good ol DJ with a huge smile on his face, its been a long time between drinks. Well done to Will on an absolutely awesome drive, hopefully there is more to come as DJ need all the help they can get after the financial drama he is in. I just hope that things can get sorted out for DJ.
And yes well done to Jamie for extending his points, if he keeps going like this being nice & consistent he just might bring home the championship for Ford, although I know its a tad too early in the season to get confident but who cares. Go gettem Jamie.

Dorothy, do we really want to know what Will and his gf will be getting up to?
Rohan, Wills car was new at the start of the ‘05 season, it is Glen Seton’s old car.

Yes my weekend was tough but I was very happy for big Willard to win his first round. It was a massive deal for him, but also a huge deal for the team who have gone through some tough times.
Ludo called me from the UK and asked me “what was wrong with your car, can’t have been the suspension”. Must of been the driver!
Jo 4:42 pm March 10th 2008
Thats right you can’t alway blame the car, he he just joking
Steph 4:46 pm March 10th 2008
You mean when you had the mouthful of water? =P
we all know about that..
Margaret Inness 5:14 pm March 10th 2008
Yes it was great to see Will get a result for himself and DJR.
Was the car ok or were you distracted lol.
Jamie Whincup 5:24 pm March 10th 2008
No the car was fine I just didn’t find the right setup for the conditions. Thats why cars are faster than others and different cars are fast at times. It comes down to who makes the right changes to the cars setup during the weekend. Will and his engineer did an awesome job.
Margaret Inness 5:25 pm March 10th 2008
Hopefully then for Barbegello you can find the right setup and be back in the winners circle.
