Hi Jamie,
I was just wondering when and where the Gala Dinner is on this year and if it was possible for us regular folk to buy tickets to come and watch you win all the awards!. LOL I know that in previous years there were limited tickets for public.
And - do you think you will win any awards this year. (Other than THE CHAMPIONSHIP and THE ARMOR ALL POLE POSITION AWARD!) I think you will!

It is in Sydney on Monday after O.P there were some tickets for sale which I think we listed in the V8 supercar website, about $100 per head from memory.
If you can’t make it it was televised on channel 7 last year on the following saturday from memory.

I really hope Frosty dosent get get the BS award this year - I dont like him !!! I hope it will be one of the T8 boys for the 4th consecutive year. They deserve it!!

AS IF! NO way…Frosty won’t win it! Jamie IS the fairest driver out there! He should win it.
I wonder if they will televise it? I want to see the telecast and see who wins! And I think Jamie will look cute in a suit! We always see him in his racing gear or team uniform!

Lets hope they televise it a little better then last year. If I remember correctly they just showed highlights of the dinner in the last of the V8xtras for the year. So all up it was probably less then 15 minutes! Cricket has the Allan Border Medal, NRL the Dally M’s, AFL the Brownlow Medal and all these get televised so why not let the V8 drivers have their night of glory televised. I am sure there will be droves tuning in! I remember when Channel 10 used to only show an hour of it late at night - I whinged at the time but at least it was something compared to what Channel 7 have given us.
In regards to the awards I hope Jamie is taking a Wheelbarrow between those already in the bag - Pole Award, Bathurst Champion Award, and Fingers crossed both the Championship and Barry Sheene Medal (I Reckon Jamie is a shoo in for this one again) It should be the JW Gala Awards dinner!
