Does anyone else miss the V8 Superstars show that use to be on after each round when Channel 10 had the coverage. It was always funny to hear the discussions between the teams, and makes. I know that V8 Xtra is a pretty god show but its not the drivers talking about it.

Yeah I agree simone that was an awesome show, it used to be hilarious with all there little props and stuff and the relationship between russell and skaifey ahhh good times! That was awesome! Although i have heard that v8 extra will turn into a more panel like show at different teams workshops and stuff i think this weekend its paul morris dont hold me to that though but still wont be the same!

I also used to like the quick questions at the end when the drivers would forget everything. How warm would the conversation be between Lowndesy & Frosty. It was such a good wrap up of the race weekend.

Yeh, I must admit I liked the show and miss it too, even went to one or two a few years ago when it came to melbourne and they were very good nights…..

thats something channell seven should work on bringing back something like superstars or at least giving us some decent coverage of the awards gala dinner jesus that section on v8 extra last year was a pretty poor effort

Yeah I would love to see it back on. The V8extra program is ok but its not long enough and we dont see anything of the drivers interacting or discussion issues with each other about the sport

haha well thats good then - when he was at the Mount for the motor festival i was walking along wtih his dad talking about the logistics for trophy presentations and i didnt recognise it was him until he was like “hi dad”. I was like bugger - grant denyer has the makings of a mullet.

lol it was pretty darn funny but I think he got a bit of a backlash! So in your job do you get to meet many of the drivers or just more behind the scenes
