have you tried publishing 101??? they have a website, i just dont know what it is but they are the ones that make the book. its a good read, but the pics are better (all things are relative). if i had my own copy id lend it to you but it was my friends that i looked at.

Cant get them off the V8 website anymore. they were there but i had already ordered a copy from a local supplier, when they advised they couldnt get it they were gone off the net

Hi Kate, have you looked on the websites for major book retailers, like A&R and Dymocks?
Dymocks Online haven’t got it (just had a look then), but there’s a match on the A&R site. For some reason I can’t copy and paste the URL, but all you have to do is type in “V8 Supercars” in the search bar and it should be one of the first matches. I know there isn’t any image and it doesn’t list which stores currently have copies (and that it’ll usually ship in 18 days), but if you’re really struggling then maybe trying some other online stores might help.

I got my copy from A&R in Hobart last November, so it sounds like I was lucky to get the copy when I did. Tasmania doesn’t have many big name bookshops, so there might be some other major retailers over there on the mainland that might have it.

Also try PitStop bookshop in Perth.

My sister and i went to 5 shopping centres, looking for this book and when we finally found one, it was the last one. There is a problem with the supplier which is why they are so scarce - good luck.

oh i know that feeling this week! i am so busy juggling my kids between auskick, swimming lessons haircuts parent teacher appointments, time with their father. my god i feel like a need a PA!

Failing that, I would have tried ebay or Borders seems to have every book ever made!

there was one on ebay a while ago but the guy wanted 120 for it!

With the p.101 team bunkered down and fine tuning the first edition of 8IGHT, we thought it might be a good time to let you know what is going on. The good news for many of you reading this email is that we are reprinting V8 Supercars: The First Decade, with books due in June.
The First Decade was a sell-out last year, and we have had a constant stream of people looking for the book. The best way to secure your copy is to go to our website and lock it away now with a pre-purchase and we’ll shoot it to you once they arrive – otherwise run into any leading book seller and see if they’ll put one aside for you – if they give you a dumb look assure them the reprint is underway and they need to talk to our distributor soon.

Kate we have the book but currently reading it at the moment, I will let you know once we are done, if you have found one or not.
