I wouldnt say its my favourite crash , but the one that comes to mind right away is Lowndes crash at Calder Park , im sure alot of people would agree with me on that …

BUT on a funny side when Skaife was on the edge on the road carrying on like a pork chop when Ingal went past & swirved at him its dam funny lol ( have alook at my videos and its on there )

Lowndseys is very memorable for obvious reasons, but the thing that gets me most about the crash, is all the drivers running to his car to help him out. Its a fantastic image seeing the boys just parking their cars wherever and going to help out a fellow driver love it. But I didnt see it happen at the time, but watching videos back its just so scary and I am glad i wasnt watching as it happened or i would of been pretty inconsolable for a while. Oh pretty much like I was with the Ambrose v Murphy accident. Ambrose is a fantastic driver and one of my favs along with JW and being it his last year and all I wanted him to grab that win so much and then the huge shunt and the hands up around the head and the back of the falcon going periously close to going over the edge I was in tears! Oh a funny one (more so the aftermath) was Murphy and Bargwanna at PI i believe big crash! then the fisty cuffs after it lol

1998 was the CL crash steph. those were the good old days of cromley in the car not the commentary box.

mark larkham and paul morris on the start line comes to mind as a pretty spectacular crash - dont remember where it was though.

and we all know that ambrose v murph and skaife v ingall are 2 moments in v8 history no one will forget.

The most memerable one for me ( because i was there for the first time ) was when the tyre hit Craogs car at Bathurst 2005 …… It was freezen that day and i was laughing when Craig told me about taken Nats clothes to wear under his race suit…. he had no front or back window in the car …

Morris and Larkham was at Oran Park. And it was sooooooo frightening! I was about 20 metres away from that one, taping the start on my camera when I heard the big whoomp sound when the cars connected and the fuel tank blew up.

And I’m with everyone else on Craig’s Calder crash. I DID see that one when it happened Montanna and I was so upset by it. I even rang my brother in a panic telling him Craig had had a HUGE crash and I was freaking out. Funny how some things affect you so profoundly…..

Ahh the Skaifey and Ingall one you cant beat for a laugh. I actually read a comment by russell a little while ago in the V mag maybe - saying if he had really been made with Skaifey there would of been pieces of red pyjamas hanging from the windscreen wipers lol gotta love rusty for comments like that.
