im really curious about the tyres
could you tell me about the tyres and which ones you use during the race?
as in i know that you use green fresh tyres to qualify, but then when do you use them in the race?
not sure but can you only have 12 tyres for the weekend and does that include the wet ones?
and do you reuse the tyres during the round for example the tyres you use in race one, when you make the pit in like race 2 are they the ones you put back on or is it the ones from qualifying?
i ve been thinking about this for a long time.

They Get 12 tyers during the weekend and I think 5 (5, not an even number probbly not 5 then) wet tyers. I spouse that woud onlyt be for sprint rounds. As Jordan said it is the Dunlop Control tyre. They changed to a control tyre was added to the series in 1999 as a Bridgestone tyre. Then in 2002 it went from Bridgestone to Dunlop. Sometimes te tyres they finish race 1 on, they will start on for race 2. I would say that is why they did not want Jamie to do donuts, because he will start with them at Bahrain for race 1.

ok so those 12 not sure how many are wets maybe what mackenzie said is all they can use so they use there fresh ones for qualifing and then wen those tyres get back the pit crew go over then with chalk and marks bad spots and bad spots so they get marked if they are good enogh to use again then they will be but somethimes they are to broken!! this is just what i was told at sbr . it could be wrong cuz i might not of been listenign probery but thats what i belive is what happnes and i would be happy to be told worng!!
