After being at sandown this year and race 3 on mnday finishing in the dark all i can say is YES YES YES YES YES…. was buy far the best racing i have ever seen, it was done years ago at calder park, back in the days of Skaife racing the SEGA GMS VR Commodore.. was great racing….. changes things up a bit… would have to be in a summer month for less chance of rain and would be nicer for the spectators…

Twilight/night racing always good to watch. SA State champs have a couple of twilight rounds (next twilight 15 Nov).
They usually have a break around sunset - when the sun is lowest in the sky (wouldn’t be easy trying to race with the sun in your eyes…), and Mallala has lighting for it.
The main issue would be lighting - not only for Driver’s visibilty (they go faster than road cars, so lights on road cars won’t be enough) and also for television - the TV cameras need a lot of light.

yes they really need night racing. it was great at sandown watching the glow of the brakes and the back burn.

yes it would be very good to have a night race meet
earlier this year i went to a club meeting at oran park and the drivers were pushing so hard to you see the glowing of the brake pads

I would like to see it at Bahrain, not only do we get to watch it at day over here instead of midnight, it would be a fantastic track for night racing because it is fast and open.
