How good was today's racing. J Dub proved his talent yet again when he dodged Jack Perkin's car in qualifying and an awesome effort to bring home a second place in race 1. Can't wait for tomorrow's action.

Sorry, but as much as I like Jamie, and he did drive well to get that 2nd place today…
Todd Kelly was fantastic, he has worked hard all year for that result and it’s about time he and Perkins Engineering got that win….bloody good effort!

Well deserved win for Todd and all of Larrys team, tough race under some very trying conditions. Jamie, congratulations on second in race 1, points are all you need.

Was damn fine result for race one, the weather was appalling (trust me I spent the day trackside, working pit exit flag point). Fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow, and that betty stops trying to check out the country side on her way around……………………….
Jamie and Betty did an amazing job today coinsidering the weather was alternating between raining, dry, drizzle and just plain foul……………….
here is hoping they can go one better tomorrow……………………………….

Good job Jamie. I was so nervous with the weather but was reminded that 888 do pretty well in the wet weather. Hoping for a good couple of races tomorrow.

Couldnt be better, I thought GT was gonna blowem away but I was wrapped to see him have a spin.
All Jamie has to do is just stay out of trouble & I think it would be safe to say that it will be a Ford T8 Championship.
It is has been a long time us Ford fans have been able to Celebrate a Bathurst & Championship in the same year, I “AM LOVING IT”.
Pluss (off topic) but my AFL team (Hawthorn) won the G/F as well, so if Jamie wins the C/Ship, I can confidently say that we have had a good year.
I still want a couple more Bathurst win’s to make up for the ones that we threw away or had taken from us.

Jack Perkins is a retard!!!!!
Candy 8:29 pm November 22nd 2008
Jamie spoke to Jack Perkins about the incident in qualifying and he claims there was another car there that blocked his view. Oh well i guess not too much harm was done, Jamie did an excellent job of pulling the car up safely *with a frown* and got on with the job.
What a great last few rounds he has had and i believe there is a lot more great moments to come. Beretz said Jamie only needs to finish higher than 19th in the following races in order to secure the championship. How mad is that!
By the way Jamie, on the ad that channel 7 ran for the Tassie race you look damn fine!
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s race’s!
Happy Racing!!

thats right candy no harm was done. jamie still got on second position and jack got out on the 1st leg and if it wasnt wet he would not of slid so far and jamie did do a very good job to keep the car from hitting anything.. good work!
