Hmm I think Frosty deservs 3 tic tocs (what is a tic toc) after a clean sweep, awesome effort.
Then Jamie For his awesome drive after a bad qulifying, wonder what was the drama that caused him to qulify so badly.
And yes the last tic toc “whatever they are” to Steve Richards, he has really lifted his game lattely.

And yes Mel Craig done a fantastic job too.

OK I think I know what a Tic Toc is, I had a look at some of your photo’s Mel and saw the pic of you and Jamie holding a packet of Arnotts Tic Toc biscuits, can you let us all in on how that came about.

The short version of how tic tocs became so popular. Jamie mentioned in a “What’s your favourite Biscuit” thread that Tic Tocs were one of his favourites. It was one on the longest threads ever, but it’s life was cut short(and it seems they are gone from the shelves of Woolworths also ). Thought it would be a nice tribute to them, naming an award after them .

OK now how silly do I feel, I didnt even see the thread, but on a positive note the next time we do the groceries I WILL defenetly be buying a paket of Tic Tocs for sure.

There is so many things to mention for the round really…

I do think Shane Van Gisbergen deserves a mention he did well as he quailfied in the top 10 then was taken out of race 1 for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and made it all the way back up to 10th in race 2.
And I also think that Will Davison done a great job as he quailifed 17 made it up to 8th then 6th and 5th for a 6th round finish.

There is probably more but that is what came to mind.

I always just want to get my frustration out on something I always check the Couier Mail after the race weekends to see what they have to say and was dispointed to see a big picture of Garth Tander small picture of Frosty and a Ingall heading about his pitlane penalties etc….What more can Frosty do to get a big picture and more of a mention come on I’m not saying that the other stuff isn’t news worthy I think it should have been about Frosty first others things second…and to top it all off this is what it said at the end:-
Third-placed Jamie Whincup was forced to apologise to Team Vodafone teammate Craig Lowndes after clipping him in race two. He wasn’t forced at all. Sorry guys just had to get that out.

i think 3 should go to Frosty and Richo because they both did some awesome driving and both agreed to have a photo with me.

2 should go to CL because he drove ok and put having his brekky on hold to come out and have a chat with my dad and I.

and one to Jamie because he drove well but ignored me inbetween races 2 and 3… he loses points for that

Madonna, I agree. We got home from the track yesterday in time to see the news on channel 7. The opening line was ‘Fords Mark Winterbottom took out a clean sweep at Barbagello raceway this afternoon but it was all about WA’s own Garth Tander who took the championship lead from former teammate rick kelly.’ they made the rest of the piece all about tander with frosty and jamie getting a mention in the middle

oh and SVG gets one tic toc aswell for the reasons madonna made

i think a TIC TOC award should go to The Kid and Jamie for showing the other drivers in the field how real racers should race,great stuff to watch as a v8 fan and no one ended up in the kitty litter or a written off car

Humm nice idea with the tictoc awards Mel! Personally I am inclined to agree with you with 3 Tic Tocs for Jamie, I mean what a come back from a pretty horrible starting spot - not many people can get through that middle/back pack unscathed. 2 Tic Tocs to Frosty to keep Tander out for a change, would of loved to see JW win but if he cant good to see Frosty take it for Ford, but I would give 1 Tic Toc to CL, what awesome heart in the mouth stuff between he and JW but they both gave each other room (most of the time) great racing.

I agree with you Madonna about the courier mail when I saw it this morning I thought jeez dont remember tander winning on the weekend! And the whole forced apology that was just Jamie doing it himself to clear the air cause in he simply wasnt looking and admited fault!

Yeah that’s excaltly right couldn’t believe it same with the news has as well.
Oh by the why I agree with Mel’s and others just mentioned Shane and WIll as well.
