What was everyones thoughts on the new v8 extra this weekend. I thought it worked quite good and it was interesting hearing the thoughts of all the people on the panel. It was especially great to hear from Mark Larkham who I believe has always been one of the genuine nice guys of v8 racing. It was also interesting to hear from Thomas Mezara in relation to the incidents last weekend. All in all it was put together well, my only issue was it could go for longer!!

lol thats no good. well it appears that neil crompton is hosting it now not beratts, but neil is totally awesome so thats okay, and they have aaron noonan on it doing like a newsextra thing so he just says the headlines and stuff then they go to neil and a panel. today he was at paul morris workshop and had russell ingall mark larham and thomas mezara as a panel like thing and just got there opinions and stuff it was pretty cool.

yeah they did thomas mezara was saying that it was just one of those racing incidents etc if one of them had giving an inch then it probably wouldnt of happened. Russell Ingall was saying that lowndsey should of had courtney the corner earlier etc. Thomas mezara replied back to all those whinging about him saying there is always experts in pit lane after the race etc etc. He reckons that racing is exactly that about racing and russell ingall said they should all loose their skirts and get on with racing instead of whinging. Although I thought that was a bit rich from him considering he had a big go at will davison at nt last year

hmmm, i missed it, but was told about what was said on the show.
i tend to agree a little with russel though. i mean. do we want them not to be able to go anywhere near each other on the race track???? that would be unbelievably boring! at least some of them are trying to race for possition - and its not like Morris - just taking people out - it was definately a racing move.
so i was glad that that was said!
how long did it go for?
and what time is it on? i always seem to be travelling when its on, and have no idea what time to set the tape to record it. =S
was anything else said on it?

It went for half an hour. It could of so easily gone for an hour especially with the guests that they had on. Its usually on at 1:00 pm in qld so you guys in different time zones can work out when its on for you guys lol too hard for me. But i do like the panel concept very interesting indeed with the right guests. I agree lindy they were racing moves on the weekend and you can pretty much just call them racing incidents and move on. Like you said it would be pretty boring if they had to stay away from each other lol

lol - thanks rohan, i knew it was on today, just had no idea what time. lol.
well, maybe i should jump on the net nest time and check the tv guide on there.
hopefully next time it will go for an hour - mind you it wont be on for the next 2 weeks, as EC on next weekend and GP on the weekend after!
