Who is leaving FPR? maybe whoever that is will go 2 SBR? Seeing as only those teams are contracted with Ford?

Pretty sure Richo cant leave as he bought the Castrol sponsership to FPR and they are only at the start of a contract….. this is what i have heard, dont knbow how true it is..

I have read that Walden motorsports Licence is up for sale and FPR has expressed interest.

Frosty has a long term contract with FPR and you would have to be silly to let him go and replace him with James.

If Courtney goes to FPR (remembering that nothing to our knowledge is set in stone) it is expect that it will be Will Davison to SBR. Filling his seat could be Steve Owen….
Along with this, there has been talk of Junior going to PMM, with Warren Luff filling his seat, but this is less believable as DJR need an established driver to develop their cars…. watch the movement in DJR/SBR/FPR!!

On V8Xtra a few weeks ago they said that JC had signed with FPR.
FPR will be renamed the ‘Ford Dealer Team’

what ive heard is……
FPR will stay as is with frosty n richo and still remain named FPR
JC will move to waldens rising stars team n patrizi will get the boot n the team will be renamed to FDT n run with a technical alliance with FPR (same sort of set up as HRT & HSVDT)
then the talk is of Jnr, Will or TC to move into the SBR seat…..

SBR seat is very much still up for grabs. Will won’t be in it… He’s set to stay at DJR although not signed yet. Michael Patrizzi would be a chance of the SBR drive as he is offering $1.5m per year and wants a 3 year deal!!!!

Like donna, I’m going to be waiting to hear from the horse’s mouth before I get too excited. After all, it is the same people that have leaked him going to FPR that said he’s going to Holden (and we all know that’s not true)…so who knows until they officially announce it….It would be my ‘dream team’ though if he were to go to FPR…

Okay, Here it is, from Motorsport E News:
Courtney to FPR but in 09′ they are going to be called Ford Dealer Team and running 3 cars.
The 3rd licence will be run off the Ford Rising Stars team, which is based in with FPR in Melbourne.

Now I think this is wrong because Ford are going on about how they are broke, so they remove sponsorship for all of the teams except FPR and SBR then turn FPR in to a 3 car team. This was leaked in the same week as the sponsorship being takes away was. It was ment to be told in October, so probbly on the Bathurst weekend. In other words Ford are trying to cheat all the teams out of there funds for the Ford Dealer Team and Stone Brothers Racing

They are just my thoughts, other people will have diffrent, just the way i kind of worked it out. I have been an avid Ford fan all my life, and this year have started to be a 1 driver fan, now I have heard about this, it has locked in my thoughts about who I want to follow. “Craig Lowndes”.

oh btw i would say davidson to sbr in 09 but not sure, he might stay with dick

Steve Owen is pretty much already the Fujitsu-champ elect for 2008 and throughly deserves a main game seat. Weither he has the profile commercially to lead SBR is questionable. DJR will move heaven and earth to try and keep Will, and why blame them - he is laying the golden eggs at the moment.

As long as the 2 Vodafone FG’s are at the front I will be happy.

mac enews is great but some of the info is gossip selectively leaked so wait n see is the best option….
