This may sound funny, but I think each team should have a Team Song so that when they win a Race or a Round it should get played when they are getting their trophy's presented.
What does everybody else think?

Great idea Marcus….
It works great for the AFL, and the cricket were doing it when particular bowlers came into the attack or when a six was hit for batsmen…. cant see it not working in V8Supercars….
The choices of songs would be interesting though, No spice girls sorry jamie !

seriously though i reckon the theme song is a great idea for each driver. I am sure the commercial types at AVESC… sorry, V8SA could compile a CD at years end for us punters…

another good one for Rick would be “Before he Cheats” by Carrie Underwood or Cheatin’ by Sara Evans. yes they are country songs, but would be great to re-write them for the little boy with a high pitched voice!!!

I’m going to go with “Smooth Rider” by Dave Matthews Band. It’s cool and cruisy…..just like Jamie…
Alternatively, “Live and Let Die”….but the Gunners version!
Or “Kickstart My Heart” Motley Crue…..killer opening riff…..

Its not a team song, but I reckon bathursts theme song should be “holy grail” they have had it once before on the start grid and it gave me goosebumps!!! They should use it every year! I love it.

Will give that some thought but not a bad idea it would just be finding the right song for the right driver, probably not a huge challenge though im sure there a plently of possibilities.
Cmon guys some real suggestions not we are the champions, thats fact anyway!!!
