All things aside i actually agree with you Doe - For one the jackets are too bulky & they make you look like you are 10kg bigger !!

I think that Matt and Jamie covered the clothing thing in this thread and Jamie said that there was stuff in the pipeline.

Sponsorship i am assuming plays a big part in the clothing range, hence the colours and embroided items, i am also fairly confident that contracts / agreements with suppliers would be in place, so i dont think us creating clothing for the T8 range would be possible.

Not everyone is going to be happy with everything, the T8 items i have have been great, my kids have some of the kids range as well and they have been fantastic, excellent wash and wear.

Personally i buy the items to support the team and show my support by proudly wearing the team colours, sponsors and designs, at the end of the day thats what the clothing is for its not a fashion show.

No your not the only one Doe, I too would love more ladies merchandise to be made.

I am happy though, they finally have the black ladies team polo(which sold out at Clipsal - sold a years worth!!) back in stock .

But I would like a light zipper jacket like they had last year.

this is about T8 merh overall not just JW’s range i know that had already been covered and i do know there is a new life styles range coming but its the cut of the shirts and the bulkyness of the jackets as well .. I love the team colour i however dont like the bright ( yucky) green they’ve used for the CL range ..

Good point Doe I have only bought the team shirt this year not to excited about the styles and colours either. I did get a jacket the other week like the one the guys were wearing but iwear jackets all the time. I have the shepra jacket from last year and love that as you can wear it anytime any where.

all the teams dont have great merch for ladies. i was going to buy a T8 jacket at Barbagello but they had none! i went around to all the other merchandise places, and the only one had a good jacket was FPR.

I ended up buying the Glenfords racing Ladies Jacket…. its pretty nice and i can wear it anywhere

yes more normal girly clothing would be great, i have a few 888 shirts but usually only wear them to the races. Triple 8 should follow the likes of stone brothers and fpr for womens style as they have some really nice gear

i splurged last year, and bought both the ladies cl and jw tops, the singlet, denim skirt and a few other things…..
when i got to the grand prix earlier this year, they only had the team vodafone merch…. was a little dissappointed, waited and saved my $$ for sandown, and well, thought it was a little ordinary. i also went looking for a girls tshirt too, as my step daughter wanted one….. my daughter has many and my fav is the “i (heart) 888″ tshirt she has. And well, they dont even have any cute tops for the kids.

so…… i am hoping next year they might get a bit more creative with their merch.

ps. did anyone purchase the baby girls suit thing that had something like “craig’s my hero, jamie’s my future husband… (and then somethng else?)” ??? oh god i loved that!!!! wanted to buy it to put on my wall (as my daughter is 3 and a little pointless for her! lol
