When Steve Richards came into the pits to replace the rear axle in race 2 (or 3), I saw the team member poking a broom in where the tyre sits. Correct me if Im wrong, but did the guy pull off the brush part of the broom then stick the wooden handle into the hole, which got sucked in. It looked like he was shocked for a moment, then he grabbed something else and stuck that in too, as if trying to get it out.
Did anyone else see it?

Hey Steph,
That was race two when all the boys got too excited at the start, i would say they were trying to get the Broken half /piece of shaft out but looking at how steve was driving the car after that it looks like it was sent out with only one axle in it. Hope that helps!!
