totally agree danielle! i for one dont go in the chat anymore for that reason and only log on every now and then to check the threads, unfortunately there are people like you have mentioned in every where and yes they ruin it for everyone.

Well said Dani I don’t log on to go into chat anymore due to the argueing and petty things. I only check the site for the threads hopefully one day i’ll go back to the chats

But honestly, it’s better to ignore a “numpty” than to argue with one.

99% of the people here that I chat with are fine, but I do ignore some absolute plonkers, clean or not…

I converse here with a heap, MSN lots, have met several, hugged a few, kissed about the same, and have slept with…………… (what, you want me to ‘fess up on G rated site? ).

Adapt and overcome peoples, we’re not here to engage in a cat/dog fight, we are here to support Jamie, or for me, a Ford driver, (Mon, Cat, Myst, no tatt jokes plz).

Piece of advice given to me on another forum:

Do not feed the trolls

In other words, there are sometimes people who will try and ‘bait’ others into an argument/reaction - don’t bite.
That way, they go hungry and go elsewhere.

All I know is that I left you guys alone for a few weeks and everything blew up!

I think this is one of the friendliest sites on the net. But be warned - now that Jamie has the championship we will be inundated with fan girls next year who will cause more havoc than what happened in the second half of this year. And with fangirls comes trolls. And with trolls comes a very angry Casey Phoenix who tries really hard to hold back and not tell them what she thinks of them.

And the other warning/ request - please remember people like me and the other Holden fans who are actually ‘all right’. Once again the number 1 may attract a few of the idiot Holden fans who will try to offend all of us. (and before you make comments to that, Ford has it’s fair share of bad fans - some of you know my story from Winton…)

I’m going to agree with Casey - there are those of us who are Holden fans, but we like Jamie - that’s why we are here. The majority of people i’ve met in the chat room don’t care about the holden stuff - in fact we have a lot of fun with it (you know who you’s are!). There are however some people on here who have decided that being Holden fans means we shouldn’t be on here. That’s one of the reasons I don’t go into the chat room anymore - I got sick of being told that i shouldn’t be there. I think someone people need to realise that this is Jamie’s site and not a ford site.

Don’t worry Bec. I regularly remind people of that fact (ie the ford golden boys being ex-holden, and that one of them has only held a lion’s championship. Anyone played V8Supercars 3 lately?? Jamie is in a Holden). I had a crush on Craig when he was a young lion… long before some of the hasslers got on the band wagon.

And unless chat has totally degenerated in the last few weeks while I have been away, I have no problems with anyone being cruel about me being pro-Holden. We often heckle each other and I love it!! If only I could put up the ‘reading’ emoticon right now….

I bleed Holden (you Ford fans can say your blood is blue, but if I said mine was red it would just look silly), but love the sport as a whole AND the drivers. I can recognise that some of the Ford drivers are fantastic - rather than get mad with the fans, I try and heckle the drivers to come over to the red side.

i like the chat room its fun but i hardly ever go on there becasue when ever i do i seem to regret it becasue there is always someone on there who will reck it. so i try to tell my self not to go on there anymore and just stick to the discussions. this site is so addicdicking!!

as a holden fan when i first came to this site i kind of felt like some people might not want me to come on here bu i think your right in saying carley…. this is jamies webite not a ford fan website. i dident tell anybody i was from holden in fright that people wouldent want me on here but now i see there is alot more holden fans on here.. all we want to do is support jamie!!
