I didn’t like the track not enough room to move and get out of each others way. Poor Jamie, well hopefully thats his bad luck over and done with for the year and i guess he has to try and forget about it and move on and look at the next race in perth

I am so devastated with what happened to Jamie! To be out the whole weekend and not get a single solitary point is horrible. To wait this long for a v8 weekend and have it ripped away in qualifying is devastating. Although like it has been mentioned before thank god Jamie is okay, that was a very nasty incident. The car is an absolute mess and meanwhile Todd gets to carry on… I know people dont like us getting into other drivers, but what upset me more was the way he tried to blame jamie for the accident not impressed todd. Poor Jamie, hopefully better luck in WA

I agree with the 50% of you guys that say it was an accident. And I’m not sure who it was that ripped into Todd saying he had no talent, but in my opinion, you are wrong. Todd is a very good driver and has rarely been involved in major incidents (to my recollection). His brother can be a bit of an idiot on the track, but don’t damn Todd because of that.

I know we are all fans of Jamie and his remarkable driving skill, and feel like someone has to be blamed, but badmouthing someone who simply has a lose just isn’t fair.

Jamie, I’m so sorry about what has happened and I’m really bummed for you. It’s disappointing for you after all the work you have put into learning the new track and the preparation that has gone into it. I know your heart must be broken, but as the saying goes, you can’t keep a great man down.

Just watching it now in Adelaide…. Expression on Roland’s face was sort of ‘here we go again…’.. poor guy.

To me, looks like racing incident… Todd corrected understeer, but Jamie was in the wrong place (was on the dry line). Not much either of them could have done about it…

About to head out to a movie… looks like I’ll be watching the rest of this tomorrow morning… DVD recorder is running (like it is for all V8 rounds).

Saw the incident, very very unhappy…. however…

Sad as it is folks, that is the scenario. I am sure Todd didnt do it on purpose. It is just plain bad luck.

Barbagello isnt that far away - and should suit the rebuilt #88.

Now for the rest of the weekend - will somebody pppplllease beat Tander and Rick Kelly ???
