Jamie on a hot lap with the fastest first sector. Behind Todd Kelly. Kelly went wide onto kerb, Jamie up the inside, Todd came back on, hit Jamie and sent him into the wall. Jamie ok. Car very bad. Probably not back today and maybe not even tomorrow.

i dont think they’ve finished Qual yet maybe morning practice is the result you got

Totally gutted because after the First qually leg everything was looking great….

Jamie was on a hotlap and was fastest in sector one , came into sector two and he and Todd clipped. Jamie bounce into the wall and then spun around to hit the rear. The rear damage is the worst……roll cage has suffered.

The team believe the car is out for the weekend.

Richard the first qually leg was all over the place with the weather. Jamie posted the fastest time really early on slicks then it started to rain. CL started on wets, went to slicks then back to wets.As the last leg finished the dry line was there and those on slicks moved up the order pushing CL down to 21st and out of the next leg. Just made the wrong call with tyres.

Stephen I could be wrong but I think the spare would be in Qld. It was a massive shunt. Jamie’s HANS device stretched 2.5 cms I think he said.

I’m sure he can make it up from there This is Craig Lowndes we’re talking about!! Although… a few Kelly’s in the way… that can only lead to trouble (example A ^^^^^)
