Should the point system be changed. Holden have won rounds (only 3 counted), How can that work. There needs to be more of a diference between 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the point count!

I think the point system is fair!!
You could win the championship and not have won a single round but if your consistent you can do it.
it would be Garth’s consistency that has put him at the top.

Yeah, you have a point, Same with Rick. I spouse you have to be in the right place in the right time. And like today Garth always is.

It’s sad but true and i am sure there are many people out there who think Jamie is always in the right place at the right time when he wins a race.
I suppose it comes down to who you support and you usually are very disappointed and think negative if some you dislikes wins.

Holden fans - they win and brag & you’ll never hear the end of it until next race.
- They lose and they go and hide..
point system is okay the way it is.
Tanders had quite a few top 10 finishes which has earned him some valuable points..

As much as i hate to say it…Tander has earned the points he has…….If Jamie was in Tanders spot…How many of us would be crying?? No we would all be laughing at the holden guys that can’t get in front….Wouldnt we????

If you think about it , Jamie is effectively a round behind everyone because of New Zealand. Even a modest points haul at that round would have seen Jamie as the championship leader.
Garth has been driving well all year (he has to - to beat Jamie !!!
) but i reckon i don’t think he will be at the top of the tree after the next round or two.

the point system is fairer than no points after 15th like last year. but it shows that no points for a round doesnt mean doom and gloom.
