It's very impressive to see the maturity shown by younger members of this website. Very very impressive. They have proper and reasonable remarks and genuine questions and answers. Keep it up guys, it's great to see. I think it would also be nice if you do see a younger member whose maturity has impressed you make sure you comment on it. Special mention to "Jordan 88 (JWCR Spokesperson)"

I agree Candy, great point. I think we are too quick to judge kids as disrepectful these days, but they soon do something to blow me away and show what fantastic people they can be and even teach us a thing or too! :o)

As one of those younger member, we all try our hardest to get the best vocabulary out there, and make it as easy as we can for people to understand, and i must congratulate all other for achieving this.

Further to maturity… remember, although we are commenting on the ‘high’ maturity levels of some of the youngons, at the end of the day they really are only 8, 10, 13 etc. Anyone who is aware of what happened yesterday regarding one of the 10 year olds and a ‘possible embelishment of the truth’ needs to remember that he is only 10. Don’t change your opinion of the person due to a silly act, which is really to be expected from the age. Let them learn from experiences, the same way we did. It only ‘affects’ more people due to the widespread arc of the internet… and really, if you take the internet so seriously then you have a lot of learning to do yourself.
Also - the example set by some of the adults is not what we would want in a role model. There is nothing wrong with that per se - the internet is a good opportunity to knock down the social expectations and barriers and be a more relaxed, easy going self. The difference is the adults have the experience to know when their actions (words) could hurt another, and should know that is wrong.
This does not mean that I ‘look down my nose’ at the younger members. I still value their ‘internet’ friendship as much as everyone on site and do not speak to them thinking of their age… I will just give them a warranted latitude when they play up. After all, they are just ‘kids’. We are lucky to have a mature, intelligent, articulate bunch on this site, which would be lesser for their absence.
(To those that are aware of the story that encouraged me to write this, please do not add explanatory posts. There is no need. The threads become rather aggressive and hurtful, and the removal of most of them by the mods supports my argument and belief.)

know i dont know if what i said was making any sense but thats the way i see it. yes, a few peepz may disagree but its my opinion.
