Haha blake once again I agree with you on this one! He is one of the more overrated drivers in the series and only won his championship due to deliberately punting the closest contender off the track! Shame on him! Second to him I believe would be russell ingall - those two years they won they really didnt deserve to win cause they didnt really do it by winning races!

I think that most people here would agree on that Blake …. no one in my house likes him at all ….. Punter Kelly aswell as other less polite names are used for him here

Yep definatly Rick Kelly he so didn’t deserve to win!!!I agree Montanna he only got there by shunting the better drivers off the track!not a fair player….not to Mention he got his Holden teammates to gang up on them which enabled him to win…Dirty player is Rick…he doesn’t hav the same awesome talent as some so he makes up for it with dirty underhanded tactics….

And yea i agree with u montanna in saying that ingall didnt deserve 2 win in 05….It should hav been ambrose or lowndes on the top step.

It would of been a fairy tale for it to be ambrose in 05 just cause it was his last year and he had been the best driver for the last three years. But unfortunately a few holden drivers put an end to that. So once ambrose looked out of it I was hoping for a lowndes win first for ford, but bingle had to come and steal it away darn it lol!

Blake, I wouldnt say least favorite champion but instead least favorite championship and the answer to that would be 2006. Rick may have been crowned champion but the events that unfolded at Phillip Island 2006 did nobody any good. Rick looked average, The sport looked average and the championship result was clouded and for Rick it was a very shallow victory. A championship won in a legal hearing is not something any true racer is interested in.

At least Jamie and Garth raced hard to the end for 2007.

Certainly it was a great contest at PI last year and both Garth and Jamie fought to the last corner of the last lap. The category redeemed itself of the shameful antics of the previous year. Hopefully Jamie can wrap it up by PI this year…. dont think we could go through that tension again !

I agree with you all about Rick. That guy is soooo annoying and comes off very bratty if things aren’t going his way.

Having said that, I wasn’t a big fan of Marcos winning either and I was happy to see Russell win on 05. When Marcos started out, he was lovely and approachable, but I feel that towards the end of his V8 career, he became quite conceited and that’s a real turn off in a person for me.

I was happy to see Russell get the monkey off his back and win the championship. It may not have been how he wanted to do it, but it goes to show, consistency pays off!

Can’t remember whether Ambrose ever won a championship, if he did, he probably cheated, but I would say definitely Ambrose. I hated that so and so so much,, smug sod he was, probably still is.

Rick for sure! He is so mean - when I saw him at Clipsal he didn’t even stop to say hi to his fans, he just practically ignored everyone and went straight to the pits. Everyone else I saw was happy to say hi or to have a photo… I just find him rude and annoying.

Tander would be up there as well… but maybe that was only because Jamie was so close!!! Haha thats probably it

Easy one Blake R Kelly, I know I shouldn’t go on about it but IMHO he won nothing Lowndesy had his measure and he knew it and the only way he was going to win the championship was by taking Lowndes out .
So as we all know he did and Craig should be the one with the championship.
I really want Jamie to win it this year which I think he will, but I still would like to see Craig win a championship after the one that was robbed from him and he hasn’t won one since coming over to Ford. So to be honest if either Craig or Jamie won this years championship I would be just as happy, but Craig is still young enough and has plenty of years to win one for Ford, but as I said I think this year is all Jamie’s.
