I was just reading on V8 Supercars that in 2009 Jamie & Craig wont be racing together ?. Is this true ?. Has anyone else heard about this ?.

Yes that is true Carlee, but contracts aren’t worth anything these days. Doubt Jamie and Craig would be looking elsewhere, may not have #1 on the door just yet but they are in the #1 team, so why would they want to go anywhere else.

This was said about the GP weekend & Jamie -
” He is a true sportsman. The incident with him and Frosty in race 3 where they both took turn 3 together and then he came in and took frosty out. The footage showed that both of them could have backed off, however Whincup actually took responsibility of being part to blame with that incident. If that was Lowndes we would still be hearing him cry and blame Frosty over it. I’ve heard a rumour which has now been confirmed by v8supercars that next year Whincup will not be racing with Lowndes….I guess we will have to wait and see if there is any trueth behind that. ”

probably best track record since 2005 than any other team,
2nd c’ship 2005, sandown win
2nd cship 2006, bathurst win
2nd c’ship, 3rd c’ship sandown win, bathurst win
many race wins between to two of them!!
definately a great team to be in!!!

Bianca - This is utter rubbish…………..and to correct you it was NOT confirmed by V8 Supercars.
Mel - The contracts ARE worth something………that is why we have them and trust me, having seen/contributed/witnessed these documents I can tell you they are worth their weight in gold. Craig is committed to both T8 and Ford for the foreseable future and wont be going any where that I know of. And believe me Jamie wont be going anywhere in 2009 and that is a fact.
Bianca - Could you please direct me to where this report is on the V8 Supercars site as I have had a look and cant find it.
