I have never been a big fan of skaifey, used to despise the man back when I first started watching the racing, but dont anymore and think it will actually be a shame to see him retire (although he could guest commentate every now and then was a crack up with neil today), I would of thought though he would of done what John Bowe did and even Marcos Ambrose and at least announce a year before that he is retiring so he can do a farewell tour

i think we all are expecting that skaiffe is going i mean really give it up! He reckons he can win the championship this season, so good luck go out with a bang but that would mean that you need to finish a race, stop whinging and get on with it. i really dont like him that is based on what i see on the tv i dont know the guy but get out and take tander with you lol

I would rather see Tander go first but that aint going to happen anytime soon, but dont get me wrong I wont be heartbroken he is retiring, but yeah he can come across quite arrogant at times but now he isnt constantly winning all that much anymore you dont see to much of him lol so maybe thats why i dont despise him as much

It will be interesting if he retires. It will be a loss as well, at times he is a great racer. He is great at running blocker thats for sure lol

I think he still has a few years left in him fair enough he isnt at the front as much as he used to be but look at qualifying this weekend and race 1 he can still play up the front and he was beating his more fancied team mate which was good to see! But does anyone thing courtney will go any better with HRT then he is with the stones?

i am not sure if courtney will go to HRT i have feeling that it will be someone else not sure who but i think Skaiffe will hold out for another season, canto might come back too

at least HRT will be able to cover the costs of wrecked cars,thats the way Snow White ,no holding back

If courtney does head off elsewhere, I reckon David Besnard should take his seat at the stones, give him another chance in the series and see how he goes.

I’d be pretty bummed if Mark retired. I think he still has a few good years left in him yet. And I know some of you are being a little mean about him and what you see on TV, but he is a really nice guy. And is there really a need to criticize his physical features?? I don’t really understand how that bears on him as a race driver….

As for JC, I think there are other drivers in the field more deserving of the seat.
