So over the last couple of weeks I have been slowly coming to the conclusion that I need to say 'goodbye' to JWC. Well, when I say 'goodbye', I really mean that I will probably still post, but nowhere near as much.
The reason being… well there are a few reasons actually. Back in November '08, when I first joined the board, it was fun. I had a blast. Everyone was just having fun, but also deep and meaningful conversations about V8 Supercars. I loved that.
That was until now.
The board is nothing like what it was. The board (from what I have been told) has pretty much gone right downhill. I'm just tired of the immaturity.
Now, I have been told by certain people (who shall remain nameless) the reasons as to why Jamie hasn't been around much these days. And that is fine. I understand. But is it right?
Just before Christmas, I came up with the idea to give Jamie a Christmas card on behalf of some of the fans. It wasn't much, just a small card with a couple of messages. I was never expecting any gratitude for it, I just did it because I thought it was the right thing to do. Just a way for me and others to say thank you.
To this day, after numerous attempts, still do not know if Jamie got the card. I have been trying to find out not for my benefit, but for the benefit of the fans who have been asking me if I knew.
Now, I understand Jamie is an extremely busy man. I get that. I also don't expect him to spend every second of every day on here trying to placate us. So I do not expect anything to come out of this. I am doing this simply for my own benefit. I feel as if I have become too emersed in the site. I just need to take a step back for a little bit. This whole post is to just let people know as to why I won't be around much, because I know some people have been worried about me.
But that is only some of the reasons as to why I am saying goodbye. Some I have stated, some I am keeping private. But please know, I have had an amazing amount of fun on here. So thank you to each and every one of you for cheering me up when I felt down, for making me laugh and making true friends which I hope to keep for a very long time to come.
So thank you everyone, and goodbye… for now.
By the way, some people seem to think that I am staying away for good. As I have stated at the beginning of this extremely long post, I'm nost saying goodbye forever… I am just cutting down on how much time I spend on here and how much I post. So really, giving this thread the title 'Goodbye, My Friends' may not have been a wise choice. HAHAHA

Ohh Lozza I am going to miss you! and no I haven’t been around that much either, so will join the rest of you in that corner for awhile to. And Lozza the Christmas Card Idea was fantastic and very much appreciated!! You have a heart of gold and a wise head on those shoulders, there are a few on this list who could take a leaf out of your book!!
