Ford’s action packed Ford Fan Day is set to showcase V8 Supercar and AFL stars in a free event at the Melbourne Showgrounds, which will see all Blue Oval drivers joined by Geelong’s finest kickers.

Jamie Whincup and co will battle it out with select Cats players including captain Tom Harley and 2007 Brownlow Medal winner Jimmy Bartel.

Held at the Melbourne Showgrounds Grand Pavilion on Sunday 1 June from 11am – 3pm, the Ford Fan Day offers an abundance of activity for the entire family and the biggest of Ford fanatics.

Ford’s sports stars will go head to head in handball competitions with a final hit-out for glory at the day’s conclusion. A pit stop challenge will also be part of the action.

The Blue Oval line-up is scheduled for autograph sessions throughout the day, and fans can pose for a pic with their favourite identity at dedicated photo opportunities.

On-stage activity will be a highlight with panel interviews plus additional games and ’surprise’ activities. Sensational prizes and giveaways include a coveted Hot Lap in the Stone Brothers Racing Falcon.

A V8 Supercar race simulator, select Falcon V8 Supercars and team transporters will be on display with tours available, topped off by a myriad of rides to keep the masses entertained.

Ford Fans can check out the full range of Ford XR vehicles and various V8 Supercar and Geelong merchandise will be available for purchase.

For the kids there will be numerous crafts including bead making, badge making and race car livery painting. The day will include special appearances from the “Half Cat” and “Ford Falcon”.

Some activities will request a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
