About Me
Hey all, my name is Steph, Im 16, live in Mandurah (WA).
I have my Dad to thank for getting me into the V8s and Ford. He bought a Ford like 11 or 12 years ago and he told me it was a very good car. (i was like 5 or 6) Since then I've had a bit of a soft spot for Fords lol. The first time i recall watching V8s was Bathurst 05. LOVED IT and i've watched nearly every race since then =) Daddys so proud of my haha lol.
I've gone to Barbagello with my Dad 4 times i think it is now, but this year was the first time I went into the pits. I caught a glimpse of Jamie twice in the T8 garage but he didnt come out for a chat (he bailed to the transporter) but Craig come out, he was sooo nice, he even put having his brekky off to come and talk to my Dad and I, then he got swamped by fans.
I've been a huge fan of Jamies since he won at Clipsal 2 years ago, it was the first time i had seen him and i liked what i saw lol.
Im also a massive fan of Shane van Gisbergen. I've followed him since he debuted at Oran Park last year, something about his performance caught my eye lol. I found him on MySpace and got talking on msn. We met in person a few days before Barbagello when he came to Mandurah. One of the best days of my life haha.
My Dad and I are hoping to be able to go to Bathurst next year. Should be interesting as we are going to drive across the Nullabor.
