ohhh gee thanks Jamie….
I heard someone put one on the freezer at Clipsal too long and it didn’t work…. is it just a suit that goes in the freezer?! does a suit fit in the freezer? where do you put the ice creams when its in the freezer?!?!?

Isn’t the cool suit some sort of ‘veined’ shirt that goes under the race suit, and cool water is pumped through it. If I recall Van Gisbergens cool suit “froze up” at clipsal….could be wrong….

Kidding, a cool suit is worn inside the race suit but over the fire proof under wear. It is like a T-shirt with plastic tubes zig zagging all over it. It is connected to a cool box which is full of ice. A little pump, circulates ice cold water from the cool box to the suit. The end result is the driver stays cooler and can concentrate more on the road.

It is amazing, I turned mine on after 10 laps during the race and it feels like some one is slowly pouring ice water all over you.

I could imagine that it could also cause a distraction too ( not being rude here!) especially if one section was really cold or it did freez, or fail to work

did your suit have to get turned off in race one jamie due to the battery problem i am sure i heard somewhere they had to shut stuff off in your car to nurse you through is that correct
