About Me

After all my shenanigans the other week I lost my 'About Me' info - but I am so fabulous I'm virtually infamous anyway….

I am a HUGE fan of V8 Supercars. I grew up in a household where Bathurst was more important than Christmas. As many on this site are aware, I am Holden through and through, but my love for the sport is so strong that I follow all the drivers; the flag I fly is just always red.

Keep an eye out for me at the meets, I'm guaranteed to be at the Victorian and NSW meets at least. If the V8's are not on the track I'm probably trying to run amok in the pits, or catching up with the many friends I have made at the wonderful sport that is V8SCA. I'll be decked out in red with my Holden flag that is the size of a single bedsheet. (it even made it onto the promo's for Hidden Valley a couple of years back… I saw the promo and thought, 'gee - look how big that flag is'. After closer inspection, I realised IT WAS ME!. Kids stop in their tracks to comment on it, 'Mummy - look how big that flag is' and even the drivers have commented. Russell raised his eyebrows and commented on it's size, Jase Richards just asked, 'You're one of those Holden fans arn't you?' Anyway - I'm off track…no pun intended) I havn't quite got into the whole facepaint thing… but it is something I should consider…

I think Jamie Whincup is fantastic due to his consistent driving skills and friendly nature!. I love that the athletes of our sport are so happy to interact with their fans. I especially like the wonderful website and community Jamie has set up for us here; I knew I loved it here but was surprised at how upset I was when I was having 'profile issues'!!

My teams are HRT and GRM (members of both) and I have a soft spot for the Kelly's, Murph and Jase Richards. I love the Holden drivers, and I love the Ford ones too. I'd just rather see the general on the higher step of a podium!

I love a good argument and get plenty on this site with the Ford domination. Looking forward to more. (did someone say parity???)
