Should Triple Eight Run a banner on the front windscreen, " 2006, 2007 Bathurst Winners". I am not sure, just thought it was a good idea. I was bored. lol Doesnt have to be front windscreen, could be somewhere else, even along side skirt of the #888 Car.

maybe something like the Champ Cars with stickers for pole positions and race wins,sort of like Scout badges maybe?

That is a very good idea, they look realy good, run them down on front door nere front wheel. Not sure, maybe Jamie will comment on this

If i was Roland Dane I would definitely do this….IF I DIDN’T WANT TO WIN BATHURST! - if 888 did this it would just jinx their chances…

i agree muz, it would be a jinx. I dont think Roland is into such gratuitous bragging. The ultimate brag would be to win in again this year…..
I think Ford have the call on the banner anyway, until Oran Park at least. Next year i think T8 can do what they like with that space ie: sell it to a new exciting sponsor.

I am not sure, but they might have sheild thing on Chaise 12. I will check out some of my pictures, that I have found from around the place.

i think its fine to just have it on the tshirts like they do. but to have it on the windscreen would be silly. mabye the side skirts would be ok. but it would be kind of silly if they dident win the race.

i think the way T8 do it atm is the best way.. is a subtle way of showing the success of each chassis!!! very nicely done.
having it anywhere on the outside of the car is just being Cocky! far from RD’s usual self!…

I reckon it would be cool to have little stickers lined up to show whereby those cars have had victories.
Like the british fighter pilots in World War 2, they had little swastikas lined up on the side of their planes to show each ‘kill’.
They had the same idea in the old CART series as well, for poles and race wins.
Perhaps the boys should do the same.
