AGP Race #3 Talk [Spoilers]

Jamie, don't scare us like that again lol.

That was a gutsy pass on Frosty and Will, hopefully he'll be able to take on Tander now though.

Great sportsmanship Jamie!!!!

i take my hat of to you after u got out of the car you didn’t blame it all on Frosty and you took some of the blame.

Great job that is why i like you and craig

Poor Jamie! He was doing so well, he even took the blame but honestly Frosty had hung him out to dry!!! I am so confused with the driving standards now, that would of been a racing incident at clipsal! I am sick of FPR always whinging about stuff like this as far as i am concerned Frosty pushed jamie way out off the track and Jamie was just trying to get back in! but in saying that I agree carlee it was fantastic sportsmanship by Jamie, well done for being so mature unlike some of the other drivers and pit crew!

it was also a great fight back from craig going from 26th to 10th and yeah it is sad jamie was doing so well then it all went wrong but at least he got out of the car and didn’t start whinging like most drivers do.

I found it interesting that none of the other team managers really wanted to comment on the incident. It was a great show of driving skill from Jamie to thread the needle through them, and I think it was probably the frustration from Frosty that saw the contact.

I agree with you Montanna, the driving standards do seem to be all over the place. I didn’t think it was worth a drive through……especially after some of the other incidents through the weekend.

Bring on NZ!!!

Jamie spoke like a true champion.
I agree with everything you said Montanna.
I was telling my dad about how well-mannered and great sportsman the TeamVodafone boys are compared to what we had seen at the last meet. The way Craig and Jamie can come out of an incident and not blame anyone, and in Jamie’s case take responsibility for the incident is accurate to their demeanor.

OMG did everybody just hear what Rick Kelly said! Thats rich coming from him. I know I am biased but I seriously dont think that Jamie was in the wrong, do people agree with me lol! Or is it really my bias coming through! I agree Leanne, jamie showed pure racing skills to come around past Kelly first then will and frosty and he just got pushed wide by frosty and was just trying to get back on track! These whinging drivers are really starting to get to me! At least Jamie is a professional and good sportsman!

R.Kellly said he just laughed when Jamie & Mark took eachother out !!

Leanne

Leanne 1:50 pm March 16th 2008

Rick Kelly is such a brat…….what is he, 15 years old?? And if that isn’t a case of the pot calling the kettle black, then I don’t know what is!

Aly 1:50 pm March 16th 2008

I agree with you Montanna & Leanne. I think Frosty was more so in the wrong then Jamie. He was merely trying to get back on racing line

Although I really think both drivers were partly to blame and could have prevented the incident, I take my hat off to Jamie for being man enough to admit he was partly to blame. If only more drivers had the kahunas to stand up and cop it on the chin like that.

As always, love your honesty Jamie and I didn’t think my respect for you could grow any larger… but it has.

Great job Jamie,

but it was a shame that 1 little thing could ruin your day

bad luck

but your honesty when u got out of the car omg it was ssoooooo nice and honest of u

to take a bit of responsibility for the blame.

but in a way i think fpr have something against team vodafone

evrytime i see someone from FPR talking they always seem to put something bad in their about Team Vodafone.

I think that if the incident didnt happen then you would of won the last race because you had the best tyres

in the field.

it was a great race by lowndes though to come from 26th right down to 10th and almost 9th thats amzing

well done craig.

well done again on a fabulous weekend Jamie maybe u and lowndes can go a 1 and 2 at Hamilton even

though no one really knows the circuit but goodluck i know u can do it

luv always and forever

Montanna ,
yes , I did hear what he said , and I would have loved to hear him howl if he`d been the one fenced by Jamie.
I think Jamie handled himself in a very proffesional manner after his little tango. But please Jamie ,the throttle goes both ways ,the first thing you have to do to win a race , or a championship , is to finish ,and refusing to give way ,and concede one place ,is not the way to do it . You have to drive and think at the same time ,surely not a big ask for someone as talented as you obviously are .

Dave A

Dave A 4:40 pm March 16th 2008

Alison ,
I think there was blame on both sides ,Jamie claimed he didn`t see Frosty until they made contact , so Frosty should have given him some room , Jamie should have backed off when he realized their was going to be trouble . There was plenty of room without rubbing panels . You gotta know whwn to hold ,know when to fold .

Natasha Manion

Natasha Manion 4:58 pm March 16th 2008

Yeh Jamie did the right thing taking half of the blame. Even though both of themcould’ve backed off a bit and gave each other some room, but in the end Jamie was the only one to tell it how it was. Rick Kelly is just an immature race car driver, if it had of been him words would of been flying not laughter!!!

Which team do you drive for dave i cant remember seeing you out there. Grandstand drivers are always the best.

Blake 9:18 pm March 16th 2008

I reckon it was fifty fifty. Lyk u said in your interview jamie, it is very hard 2 c everything around u with ur helmet, hans device etc…..But good on u 4 taking some of the blame. We all no it wasnt intentional. I thought frosty was in a bit of the wrong as well, but he didnt deliberately take u out. Just unlucky it had 2 end that way.

Dirty Sanchez

Dirty Sanchez 9:24 pm March 16th 2008

Sanchez thinks that Dave A either a.works for FPR or b.Hasnt had a television that works or c. Wears the same glasses as Tim Edwards.

So we can see how unbiased you are Dave please give us your opinion of the Courtney / Lowndes / Frosty incident at Adelaide. Should Courtney or Craig lifted? Should Frosty have not blocked earlier in the race?
