As for Black caps..they did have some @ Chip n Dales newsagents in Bathurst for 25bux..

As for the posters you will be lucky to find one, unless you are willing to pay big $$’s(I was sent a link from ebay and the amount they are being sold for is crazy!!). I hate that some people only get them so they make a quick buck and those who would really appreciate one miss out.

Everything has a price… but surely $255 for one of those posters is NOT it.

I managed to grab one (even after wasting a minute trying to jump over that damn pit wall with grace); I wanted it for the history of the achievement, and because it was good to see those guys get a 3peat.
After seeing the advertisements on ebay, selling it crossed my mind VERY briefly. But I really like it, and if I was going to get rid of it I would find a fan and not exploit the disposable incomes of the crazy community on ebay.

Anyone that went last year and got themselves a ‘45 years of moments’ Bathurst poster - they’re now selling for $400+ if framed. I had three and actually gave one to my mechanic as a gift!! Makes me wonder how much some of my other unusual mementos are worth…

If you don’t come accross someone who is willing to give theirs up Darren, I can assure you that they are not worth the fuss everyone is apparently making on ebay. If you got it on the day, stood under the podium and got your flag sprayed with champagne then there will be sentimental value attached to it. If you weren’t there, it’s really only a piece of cardboard.

Why on earth is it so hard to get a 888 Bathurst celebrating there 3rd win, I realy am just so happy that they ( Ford ) have won the last 3 Bathursts I really want something to remember it, but it looks like you have to pay for it big time. And I am sorry but that is straight out “wrong”.

It’s one of the problems with ebay at the moment, people grab things purely to sell them - temporarily increasing the cost of memorbilia, but not actually increasing the value. However - considering the number of posters that were handed out (I got there as the first box was opened and there was three small boxes), not many have been sold.

An alternative would be a collectoin of the newspaper articles? They’ll have more details and memories than the placards.

Beats the $100 - $255 that they are selling on ebay for, unsigned.

I just cant believe the amount of the Team Vodafone Kings of the Mountain 06,07,08 posters are selling for on ebay, it sucks big time as I really really want one but I cannot afford that price.
Looks like I will just have to save my money & get one for Christmas coz by then Jamie would’ve won the Championship & they should have a special Bathurst a Championship Poster.
