as stated by the legendary Roland Dane on V8Xtra today, T8 are currently building 5 FG's for next year…
Now obviously, 2 are for T8, 2 are for DJR, is the 5th car built as a spare or as a customer car. ie PCR?

i am not 100% sure so dont trust me but i would think that they would need a spare car just in case the rounds are really close together and one car gets damaged bad they can just have a spear. but then again i dont know who eles they make there cars for (like pcr) and i also missed v8extra so. but thats would i would think!

T8 are building 2 news car for Craig and I, two for Courtney and Johnson, and the fifth is for Fabian Coulthard.
Two and almost complete and they will all be debuted at Clipsal 09.

Awesome thanks Jamie, thought as much… so T8 get the 1st 2? or the last 2? all will they all be 100% the same?
so is it confirmed that WD wont be at DJR next year? Jnr is staying?

Can't wait to see the FG next year - especially with the rear window having a "Whincup" with the number "1"

Woo Hooo glad to hear it Jamie, it’s just a shame the cars wont have any “Ford” sighnage on them.
But thats Fords loss not T8, hope Craig & Jamie can get win # 4 at Bathurst. And good to see that DJR will have T8 built cars, I think Ford made a big mistake by dropping T8 & DJR.

I have heard that Marcus Marshall will be running a T8 FG at some stage next year also…
